College Basketball

The adaptation from high school to college was hard. College basketball felt faster on day one. The people we faced were stronger, and plays in general happened quicker. I had to learn scouting like no other, new plays, and balance classwork with practice games and study hall. Managing my time became just as important to shooting a basketball. Another main thing I learned was to ask way more questions and take constructive criticism. Getting close to my teammates was one of my favorite parts, they arent like friends, they are a family. They all have your back even though you just met them or might not know them like that. Wearing the jersey with the school on it meant you were representing everyone as a whole, teammates, coached, managhers, and even the atgletic staff or school in general. I had to bring good energy and listen and give help

College basketball also taught me how to handle bigger crowds, tougher schedules, and more responsibility on and off the court.

My Accomplishments

  • 28-5 college record
  • Conference Championship
  • Chance at winning njcaa nationals
  • Ability to play for a coach of the year
  • Having fun with my team

At the end of the day, its bigger than basketball. Its about the relationships you make and the experiences you have.
